Welcome to Knox County Hospital!

Knox County Hospital is a critical access healthcare provider for Knox County and the surrounding areas. In cooperation with our excellent Medical Staff, dedicated employees and other local healthcare providers, we offer a complete healthcare delivery system. Knox County Hospital is committed to identifying community health needs and making every effort possible to meet those needs in order to improve the quality of for all residents in our service areas. Our hospital features 42 acute care hospital beds, (all private and baths), complete outpatient and surgery facilities and a sixteen (16) bed skilled nursing unit. Most importantly the employees here at Knox County Hospital are committed to creating a truly patient focused hospital where the patients and their families will know us as caring, trustworthy and competent.

Special Needs Accessibility

Knox County Hospital strives to provide services with access to all persons with special needs. Handicapped parking locations are designated outside all main entrances of the building. Restrooms are available throughout the facility that are equipped for patients and/or visitors with wheelchairs. Office/Department signs are visible throughout the building and are provided in raised lettering and Braille. Several procedures have been implemented at Knox County Hospital to allow effective communication with persons who have limited English proficiency as well as with persons that are deaf, hearing impaired, blind, or visually impaired. Staff at registration areas and the information desk are educated to these policies. Policies are available for review on request.
